As the CECS Level III Middle & Long Distance Course enters its second week the hectic finish to 2008 for RDC Brisbane has only just begun with 3 more courses still to be held before we break for the Festive season.

The first ever Level III Course in Middle & Long Distance under the new Coaches Education & Certification Scheme commenced in Brisbane on Monday 15 September at the Queensland Sport & Athletics Centre, home of RDC Brisbane.

Member Federations of Oceania are advised that applications have been called for the CECS Level III (Coaches Education and Certification) Course for Middle & Long Distance coaches to be held in Brisbane from 15 - 28 September.

The second Semester of 2008 (July - December) for RDC Brisbane will feature five courses covering Coaching, Technical officiating, Competition Management, a Level II Lecturer's Course and a special coaching course for French speaking Federations in Oceania.

RDC Brisbane financial consultant, Don Jowett, OAM received the Queensland Athletics Association's highest award at the Association's AGM on Saturday 24 May.

Further changes to the IAAF Competition Rules have been made and are effective Internationally from 1 May, 2008

RDC Brisbane has developed a revised set of procedural guidelines to assist Member Federations to nominate candidates for all future RDC Courses.
